"May your hands always be busy. May your feet always be swift." - Bob Dylan
After graduating college in New York State with degrees in Engineering and Telecommunications, I became fascinated with glass material during my travels and the seemingly unlimited processes of creating something with it. Over time, the available glass colors made with different combinations of sand, soda ash, limestone, other naturally occurring raw materials, and different precious metals, struck an experimental scientific interest.
Some types of glass (silicate) materials with compatible properties were not easy to use together even at their optimal high temperature. With about 11 years of experience researching with different clear and colored glass from a variety of manufactures, techniques, usable and/or compatible materials, coefficients of expansion and contraction, there is still a lot more to learn. That is the exciting part for me.
